The body of a man was found on the shore of Walney Island yesterday. The head and hands were gone, and the legs were held to the trunk by the sinews, and both were broken. He had a black serge vest and trousers and elastic-side boots, but there was nothing to identify him. This is the second headless body found within a week, and neither has been identified.
